The Escape Series at Selva Armonía

It is our intention to go above and beyond the guidelines set out by Costa Rica and the Health Department to give our retreat attendees a greater sense of comfort in our activities. We will be taking the following precautions to maximize the safety of the experience:

• All staff will be wearing masks during their shifts, while cleaning personal and common spaces, attending to guests or in close proximity of guests.
  
  
• Temperature checks upon arrival at Selva Armonia.
  
  
• For international travelers arriving to Selva directly from the airport, we require that you obtain a COVID test within 72 hours of your travel. If traveling from San Jose please present a Negative COVID Test taken within 72 hours of arriving at Selva. Please be prepared to present test results at reception immediately upon arrival.
  
  
• Newly implemented cashless payment system that reduces physical touch-points.
  
  
• Implemented capacity limits to accommodate social distancing guidelines .
  
  
• Added dining seating with social distancing in mind.
  
  
• Open air common spaces, workshop spaces, living room and event spaces.
  
  

• Hand sanitizers & handwashing sinks have been placed throughout the property and will be refilled regularly.
  
  
  
  
  
  

Costa Rica has been open to travelers since November 1st. As of the time of this writing, Costa Rica only mandates two requirements for all international travelers:

1. Complete a Digital Health Pass form
2. Purchase traveler's health insurance

We are confident, based on official statements encouraging travel from the Costa Rican government, that Costa Rica will not close its borders. That said, we know these are uncertain times and that nobody can predict the future.  

In the event that travel restrictions inhibit you from entering Costa Rica or from leaving your own country, you are entitled to a full refund. Refund requests can be processed by emailing info@selvaarmonia.com with your booking ID and proof of government imposed restrictions making you unable to travel. 

Programming for The Escape Series requires advance deposits and as such we cannot offer refunds for any other circumstances.

Somewhere in between a hotel, retreat, and festival, The Escape Series sits at the crux of an entirely new lodging experience. Offering you the intimate programming and all-inclusive experience that you would expect from a retreat, with the added bonus of total flexibility to opt in or out of meals and activities at your leisure.
